Dirty Bird Industries / AR15Discounts.com is a growing eCommerce retailer specializing in firearm parts and accessories. We are a family owned and operated business with traditional values and a strong work ethic. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Firearms Armorer to join our team and help ensure every product that leaves our shop meets the highest standards of safety, function, and craftsmanship. This is not a typical armorer role. The primary focus is on preparing parts kits—especially for the AR-15 platform, including upper parts kits, buffer kits, lower parts kits, and similar assemblies—with some AR-10 and 9mm work as needed. Responsibilities also include kitting, packaging, labeling, hands-on assembly, and quality control for complete uppers, lowers, and rifles. Armory Duties Following assignment sheets, pull and inspect components, then kit, package, label, and bin them — or assemble them into finished sub-assemblies and builds, depending on the assignment. Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble firearms and components to manufacturer and company specifications. May including fitting, adjusting, and staking parts. Perform quality control throughout — functional testing, headspace checks, and inspecting incoming and finished parts for defects or out-of-spec conditions — troubleshooting issues alongside fellow Armory associates.

Maintain inventory accuracy:

keep correct pull counts, return parts to their designated bins, and transfer completed kits into inventory to make them available for sale. Track each assignment using company-provided software so production can be accurately reported. Maintain, calibrate, and organize armorer tools, gauges, and shop equipment, and keep a clean, secure work area in accordance with company and regulatory standards. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to safety and quality. General mechanical aptitude — comfortable and competent with hand tools and shop equipment. Organized, with the ability to manage inventory accurately. Able to read and interpret assignment sheets, spec sheets, and tolerance charts. Comfortable learning company software for inventory and production tracking. A team player who communicates effectively and demonstrates integrity and accountability. Given the technical nature of the products we sell, we're looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn the AR platform, and a genuine interest in staying current with industry standards and best practices. There's room for advancement for the right candidate — most Armory team members start with kitting and inspection and move into assembly work as their skills develop. Salary depends on experience and qualifications.

Must be able to legally possess, purchase, and operate firearms under all local, state, and federal laws. Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening. Must not be a "prohibited person" as defined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) under 18 U.S.C. § 922. Experience (Preferred) Warehouse environment: 1 year Hands-on firearms assembly, repair, or servicing in a manufacturing or gunsmithing environment: 1 year

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
