Job Description
Eaton's Critical Power Solutions division is seeking Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This position is based in Youngsville, NC at our Youngsville Plant Operations, just 20 miles outside of Raleigh, NC. Relocation assistance available within US. The Supply Chain Plant Manager is responsible for leading all supply chain operations for the Youngsville manufacturing site, ensuring the effective planning, procurement, storage, and delivery of materials required to meet customer demand and business objectives. This role oversees materials planning, production scheduling, purchasing of direct and indirect materials, inventory management, cycle counting, warehousing operations, and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP). The position plays a critical role in driving supply chain performance, optimizing inventory and service levels, and supporting plant operational excellence. Additionally, this leader will be instrumental in scaling supply chain capabilities and processes to support the successful launch and ramp-up of the new MVSST product line, ensuring readiness, continuity of supply, and alignment with growth objectives The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do:
- Manages current and future demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements
- Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal Supply Chain execution
- Provide onsite leadership to receiving, shipping, warehouse materials/kitting, shipping, master scheduling and procurement buyer teams.
- Ensures correct planning parameters and transaction disciplines are utilized in order execution systems (SAP) to ensure proper order generation and inventory balances
- Manages material cost and schedule impact of proposed engineering changes in addition to taking necessary action to ensure successful implementation and incorporation of approved engineering releases
- Evaluates operational performance of the group in order to facilitate performance management, merit promotions, transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
- Meet or exceed key metrics of days on hand, gross inventory, plant and supplier on-time delivery, days payable outstanding, cost savings, cycle count accuracy, supplier invoice on-hold metrics, and profit plan/budget forecasts. Manages inventory levels to meet established inventory & Day-on-Hand targets.
- Ensure the accuracy of physical inventory to assure the timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining inventory levels that are beneficial to the overall operation of the company
- Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton's vision, encourages continuous improvement while aligning with supply chain functional requirements (i.e. Materials Management Assessment)
- Supports SCM strategic initiatives and helps to lead related functional MMA/OpA assessments
- Supports SCM organizational capabilities and bench strength through functional excellence, training and coaching. ## This role could be the next step in your career if you demonstrate the following experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, shipping, receiving, stock room, SIOP, or related operational leadership.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading people and/or cross-functional teams.
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, physical inventory, ERP (SAP) systems, and root cause corrective action. ## You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with SAP ECC/MRP, inventory management, and warehouse operations processes.
- WMS implementation, administration, sustainment, RF scanning, barcode, or warehouse automation experience.
- APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, advanced Excel, Power BI, data analytics, or related supply chain/CI certification. ## We will not consider candidates who:

- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to manage changing operational priorities, meet customer requirements, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience driving inventory accuracy through cycle counting, root cause analysis, process discipline, and corrective actions.
- Experience optimizing warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, kitting, shipping, layout design, and Lean process improvements.
