Inventory Clerk

We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to support a healthcare facility in Omaha, Nebraska through a Contract assignment. In this role, you will help maintain accurate fixed-asset records by conducting hands-on inventory reviews across hospital departments and confirming equipment details in active care settings. This position is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and experience working with inventory documentation and physical asset counts.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site counts of fixed assets and equipment across multiple areas of the hospital to ensure records reflect actual inventory.
• Attach and confirm asset identification tags on equipment, making sure labeling is complete and accurate.
• Review physical inventory results against current asset listings to validate existing records.
• Investigate mismatches by documenting missing items, unrecorded equipment, and other inventory variances.
• Suggest corrections to the asset register based on audit findings and verified asset information.
• Perform inventory activities with discretion and professionalism while working in clinical and patient-facing environments.
• Maintain organized documentation of counts, tag verification, and discrepancy findings for reporting purposes.
