Education required:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)Range of Experience:
2-5 years warehouse experience 2-5 years of experience operating a forklift. 2-5 years of experience operating a power jack 2-5 years of experience operating a riding jackPreferred Skills:
Experience using a scanning gun. Experience using WMS system. Experience loading and unloading 53-foot trailers and box trucks. Experience and understanding of BIN transfers. Inventory Control experience. Good Problem-Solving Skills. Ability to add, multiply, and divide. Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to cross-train in other departments.Physical Demands & Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to handle or touch, reach, talk, hear, and smell. The employee may be required to kneel, crouch, sit, climb, or balance. The employee may lift and/or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance. Employees need to be able to stand for 8-10 hours. The employee needs to be able to do repetitive lifting motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and aromas. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
