Materials Technician

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and looking to break into the healthcare industry? Livingston Surgery Center is looking for a Supply Chain Technician to join our surgical team. In this role, you aren't just moving boxes; you are the backbone of the Operating Room. This is a fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts patient care. What You'll Do

Inventory Management:

Count and restock medical supplies in operating rooms and storage areas to ensure we never run out of essentials.

Receiving:

Verify incoming shipments against orders and manage the organized flow of goods from the dock to the shelf.

Equipment Care:

Ensure surgical equipment is clean, functional, and parked in its proper home.

Problem Solving:

Act as the "go-to" person for clinical staff when they need a specific item during a busy surgical day. What We're Looking For

• No healthcare experience? No problem. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
• The "Organizer": You're the type of person who likes a place for everything and everything in its place.

Physical Stamina:

You'll be on your feet most of the day and should be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs.

Communication:

You can work well with a team of nurses and doctors in a high-pressure environment.

Education:
