This is an Inventory Control position responsible for performing cycle counts, compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the establishment and/or items to be returned. They will conduct in-house inspections of our products coming into the warehouse and of existing products.Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 12:30-8:00pmRESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory. Cycle count the entire warehouse; dry, cooler and freezer areas including hi rises. Cycle count all pick slots and reserve slots for discrepancies and product/packaging integrity issues. Perform recount of items as needed. Run warehouse overview sheets for the reserves for designated aisles. Verify reserves are properly recorded and verify the count of each reserve pallet. Verify put-away and transfer process performed by the day and night personnel. Assist with variance reconciliation and correction transactions Identify and recommend process improvements to prevent inventory variances. Prepare and maintain work records and reports of inspection results to ensure company is compliant. Audit inbound shipments for quality, as well as making discretionary decisions on older inventory.- Communicate effectively with internal departments to address discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
