POSITION SUMMARY

This is an Inventory Control position responsible for performing cycle counts, compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in the establishment and/or items to be returned. They will conduct in-house inspections of our products coming into the warehouse and of existing products.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 12:30-8:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure integrity of the physical count of the in-house inventory. Cycle count the entire warehouse; dry, cooler and freezer areas including hi rises. Cycle count all pick slots and reserve slots for discrepancies and product/packaging integrity issues. Perform recount of items as needed. Run warehouse overview sheets for the reserves for designated aisles. Verify reserves are properly recorded and verify the count of each reserve pallet. Verify put-away and transfer process performed by the day and night personnel. Assist with variance reconciliation and correction transactions Identify and recommend process improvements to prevent inventory variances. Prepare and maintain work records and reports of inspection results to ensure company is compliant. Audit inbound shipments for quality, as well as making discretionary decisions on older inventory.

• Communicate effectively with internal departments to address discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent One year of electric pallet jack and/or forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Food warehouse experience Quality Control experience Prior warehouse, inventory control or merchandising experience

RF Scanner Professional Skills:

Ability to communicate intra and inter department Demonstrate basic computer skills Microsoft Excel experience Show strong organizational skills Detail-oriented and a thorough investigator Ability to handle periodic high volume, busy periods with professional composure Proactively resolve problems Excellent math skills
