UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Central Stores & Supply Distribution Aide to join the team at Geneva General Hospital. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, working as part of a team, and keeping hospital departments supplied with the materials they need to provide quality patient care.
In this role, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes part in hospital operations by distributing supplies, restocking inventory, delivering materials throughout the organization, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
What You'll Do Distribute Central Stores supplies to hospital departments and pick up credits daily.
Monitor supply levels and adjust quantities based on department needs.
Enter supply distribution data, issues, and credits into the computerized inventory system.
Stock and rotate inventory and ensure supply requisitions are filled accurately.
Deliver and transport supplies, specimens, mail, X-rays, and other materials to designated locations.
Assist with loading dock coverage, receiving deliveries, and operating a pallet jack.
Operate a cube truck as needed.
Provide professional and courteous service to staff and departments throughout the organization. What We're Looking For
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid New York State driver's license with a driving record consistent with Finger Lakes Health policy.
Computer literacy.
Ability to perform basic math and understand written instructions.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and pay close attention to detail.
Professional and courteous approach when working with others.
Preferred:
Previous supply distribution experience.
Data entry experience.
