BJ's Wholesale Club is hiring a Part-Time Inventory Control Clerk to support accurate merchandise flow in our high-volume wholesale environment. In this role, you will count and verify inventory, research discrepancies, and maintain stock records using handheld scanners and inventory systems. You will assist with cycle counts, receiving audits, and adjustments to ensure on-hand quantities are correct and product is available for members. The clerk coordinates with receiving, merchandising, and front-line teams, follows safety and loss-prevention procedures, and helps maintain organized stock areas while meeting productivity and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to verify on-hand quantities Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies using club systems and reports Use handheld/RF scanners and inventory software to update stock records Assist with receiving audits and verify shipments against purchase orders Process inventory adjustments in accordance with company procedures Coordinate with receiving and merchandising teams on stock issues and locations Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and sales-floor storage areas Follow all safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards for inventory tasks Support other warehouse and stocking duties as needed Required Skills Inventory control Cycle counting Warehouse operations POS and inventory systems RF/handheld scanners Data entry Basic math and reconciliation Stocking and merchandising Loss prevention procedures Safety and OSHA awareness
