JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
: Load and unload all equipment and trailers in a safe and efficient manner. Maintain and update a shared electronic dock log to ensure visibility across departments. Tag and document all arriving equipment accurately. Inspect all incoming and outgoing equipment to ensure accuracy and condition compliance, including E-Inspect process. Route all paperwork to appropriate departments in a timely and accurate manner. Schedule transportation and secure necessary permits as required. Process and bill transportation charges accurately. Partner with Wholesale and Rental teams to locate and manage equipment availability. Coordinate closely with Sales Coordinators, Shop Foreman, Parts and Rental Managers to ensure smooth operational flow. Assist Parts Department with daily replenishment, stock orders, and shipping activities (including FedEx and UPS processing). Maintain accurate equipment inventory control. Ensure warehouse, dock, and yard areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress, and preparation. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year warehouse experience or equivalent training. Proficient computer skills or demonstrated ability to quickly learn relevant software systems. Effective verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Demonstrated ability to complete paperwork timely and accurately. Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions and willingness to learn new tasks. Professional and courteous customer relations skills and phone etiquette. Functional capacity and effective organizational skills to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Forklift operator experience. Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record. Able to meet the physical requirements outlined in the "Requirements of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk" document.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours will be 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
