POSITION SUMMARY

The Fittings Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory of fittings and pulling fittings for orders to supply material handler through data lookup. Required to cross train across company departments based on business needs.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Pull fittings for order to go to prep inspection shelves Maintain and check inventory Use math to calculate cut-length Review orders Reconcile computer inventory with actual Return job to Planning if necessary & get account of current inventory Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Escalation of discrepancies to Planning Department Safeguard & ensure proper material to order Enforce discipline when people ask for more fittings without approval

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to understand and follow English instructions. Knowledge of using measuring instruments. Knowledge of fittings. Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
