Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring an Inventory Clerk II for a valve company in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for assisting with the control, organization, and movement of materials required for production and customer orders.

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented candidate who is comfortable working with inventory systems, performing data entry, conducting cycle counts, and physically organizing and relocating inventory throughout the facility.

Job ResponsibilitiesEnter received parts and materials into the company inventory databasePhysically relocate incoming inventory from internal and external sources to the appropriate bin or staged job locationPerform daily random cycle counts of available inventoryAssist in completing a 100% physical inventory count on a quarterly basisMaintain an accurate inventory accounting systemOrganize and maintain part locations using a systematic, similar-part-type methodGather and maintain inventory data to provide management with accurate and timely informationMaintain a daily log of all cycle count variancesResearch and identify inventory discrepancies as neededAssist the scheduling department with staging orders for the assembly departmentEnsure materials and parts are properly identified and storedMaintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environmentRequirementsPrevious inventory, warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience preferredPrevious experience with inventory databases or computerized inventory systems preferredStrong data entry and computer skillsAbility to perform accurate inventory and cycle countsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic math skillsAbility to identify and document inventory discrepanciesComfortable working in both warehouse and production environmentsAbility to physically move and organize inventory as requiredDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdditional Information$18.50/hourMonday-Friday schedule7:30 AM-4:30 PMTemp-to-hire opportunityOpportunity to work with an established valve company in Oklahoma CityPosition combines inventory control, data entry, material handling, and production supportImportant Note - Safety Sensitive RoleThis position is classified as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law (O.S. § 63-427.8).Individuals with a valid medical marijuana license may be disqualified from consideration.
