We are looking for an Inventory Clerk to join our client's team in SW Portland on a Contract basis. In this role, you will help maintain accurate stock movement from receiving through shipment while supporting timely, high-quality order fulfillment. This position is ideal for someone who values accountability, works well with others, and takes pride in keeping operations organized, safe, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

Process outbound orders by reviewing requests, selecting items, packing shipments, and preparing them for dispatch Support inventory accuracy through receiving activities, product returns, and routine stock count verification Handle materials carefully and maintain organized storage areas to promote efficient warehouse flow Follow established safety practices, quality expectations, and workplace procedures throughout daily tasks Work across multiple warehouse functions to help move inventory smoothly from arrival to final shipment Use computers or tablets to update inventory records and complete operational tasks Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals and assist with cross-training when needed Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or order fulfillment work Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds Comfortable standing and moving throughout the workday Basic computer or tablet skills for inventory-related tasks Strong dependability, honesty, and ownership of assigned work Effective communication skills and willingness to ask questions or raise concerns TalentMatch ® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
