An Inventory Associate monitors warehouse inventory and places orders with vendors for supplies. Conducts regular or occasional audits of inventory or sections of a warehouse.

We are currently seeking a Inventory Clerk to join our team in Akron, PA. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for assisting with the management of incoming and outgoing supplies and products and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and conditions of materials both in the shipping area and inventory area of the business.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Verify accuracy, quantity and quality of receipts and verifies against Purchase Orders. Process and package finished goods for shipping. Process necessary documents for shipping finished goods and miscellaneous supplies, including machinery and sensitive and fragile measurement equipment. Receive and stock goods accurately via ERP system and place in physical bin locations. Verify labeling of raw materials and label materials prior to stocking if necessary. Organize and stock shelves and rotate inventory per FIFO (First In, First Out) and shelf-life process. Prints and cuts heat shrink and labels based on family drawing requirements and customer specifications. Accurately and efficiently withdraw goods, both physically and within the ERP system, to fulfill Work Order demands. Investigates and resolves issues with Work Order material discrepancies. Performs physical inventory counts to verify and correct discrepancies between physical and ERP inventory. Ensures the inventory area meets 5S standards for cleanliness and organization standards. Constant, clear, concise, and complete communication with any and all departments within Rosenberger, with particular emphasis on Upper Management, Production, Purchasing, and Quality. Maintains regular, predictable attendance. Works overtime as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma (or equivalent) required. 2+ years of related experience. Forklift certification or willingness and ability to obtain certification. Prior experience in warehousing, inventory control or production is desired. Lean Six Sigma experience a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with other departments. Solid math and computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Problem solving skills. Strong understanding of the metric system. Ability and willingness to work as a team player. US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
