Job Description

This role is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory supplies, including stocking inventory locations, applying charge labels to applicable items, processing supply requests, and ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper stock rotation. The position also involves removing expired or outdated products as needed. Job Requirement Fulfill customer requests for supplies and deliver products in a timely manner. Count and restock customer inventory locations on a scheduled basis. Perform cycle counts and make inventory adjustments as needed. Identify patient-chargeable items and apply the appropriate charge stickers. Review customer requisitions for accuracy and enter information into the Materials Management Information System (MMIS). Maintain inventory security and ensure product quality and integrity. Assist with receiving and verifying incoming shipments. Respond to customer requests and provide assistance with supply needs. Skills and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; hospital medical/surgical supply inventory experience preferred. Experience with inventory counting, order picking, labeling, cycle counting, and perpetual inventory. Experience using MMIS and processing inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and credits. Knowledge of inventory adjustments, including shrinkage, obsolescence, conversions, and outdates. Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and attention-to-detail skills; Microsoft Office experience preferred. Ability to stand and walk frequently, lift/carry and push/pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally, and perform frequent reaching and grasping.
