Job Description
The purpose of the Inventory Control Associate position is to service all aspects associated with the daily functional inventory control in the distribution center or warehouse, including moves, cycle counts, helping both inbound and outbound associates, processing damages and all discrepancy reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Perform Cycle Counts Process Damages Report all Inbound Discrepancies to the Inventory Control Supervisor or Manager Assist Operators with Any and All Discrepancies and System Issues Prepare for and Assist withAnnual Physical Inventory Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of or ability to learn SAP Knowledge or ability to learn HighJump Warehouse Advantage system and/or customer operating systems Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and 365) Basic computer skills Ability to handle reoccurring problems Basic math skills Ability to multi-task. Ability to perform work in a highly detailed and color-coded manner Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information Strong verbal & written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to work within a team Ability to read labels and numbers Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment Ability to work without supervision Ability to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent One year of previous warehouse administrative experience Forklift experience, preferred Leadership experience, a plus WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) system experience, a plus Prior RF Unit experience, a plus Competitive Compensation We believe in rewarding excellence.
