Key Responsibilities Stock Management & Tracking:
Monitor current stock levels of packaging components, ensuring exact inventory data aligns with digital records. Track the movement of goods entering and leaving the warehouse.
Cycle Counting & Audits:
Perform regular, routine physical stock counts (daily, weekly, or monthly) and reconcile any variances or discrepancies in the system.
Receiving & Labeling:
Inspect incoming freight deliveries to match them against purchase orders, log items accurately into the company database, and attach proper warehouse labels.
Order Fulfillment & Staging:
Retrieve, sort, and organize raw materials required for production or stage finished goods for the shipping department.
Data Integration:
Use inventory management software or Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP/MRP ) systems to update material logs and track trend lines.
Space Optimization:
Maintain a clean, logical, and safe warehouse storage layout to maximize efficiency and follow safety guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:
Typically requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. Higher-level specialist roles often look for 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or packaging warehouse setting.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfort using barcode scanners, digital data-entry software, and basic spreadsheet programs (like Microsoft Excel).
Physical Capabilities:
