Job Description

Shift:
Weekend Shift (R)- Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30
PM Pay Rate:
$29.00
Hourly Purpose:
Responsible for daily inventory functions within the DC. Direct the workflow of product flow into and out of inventory holding and staging areas in a safe and effective manner. Responsible for continually improving the processes of the facility to increase the overall effectiveness of the operation. This role requires an effective professional communicator, must be a professional team player and must work well with others.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain proper inventory levels of all consumable products (IE, hangers, corrugate, warehouse supplies) Cycle count inventory once per week to ensure inventory accuracy Track usage of consumable products Ensure proper staging of corrugate products for operations team Request orders of inventory in a timely manner Ensure inventory is stored and staged neatly and consistently Load and unload product trucks Ensure purchasing team is aware of arrival of goods in a timely manner Alert both operations and purchasing teams if there is shortage of a product Keep accurate list of purchased items Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly working environment Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Excellent verbal and written communication in English Ability to work collaboratively within a large group of co-workers Positive and enthusiastic approach Strong knowledge of DC operations, including storage methods and material flow Performance and metrics driven mindset Excel, Outlook, Word and working knowledge of WMS principles Regularly required to talk or hear; stand or walk; use fingers, hands and arms to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, push and pull for up to ten (10) hours/day Ability to work in a warehouse environment Ability to reliably attend work/scheduled hours Occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to forty (40) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl Requisite Education and Experience /
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum of (1) year related distribution experience and/or training Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
