Position:
Inventory Control Specialist Shift:
1 opening on 1st ShiftPOSITION SUMMARY
The Inventory Specialist will handle all day-to-day inventory management and oversee inventory from raw materials to finished goods. Will work closely with management developing and improving procedures and policies, prevent losses and ensuring accuracy of inventory records. Performs regular counts of all products. Requires regular interaction with plant resources.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
¨Oversee and perform inventory control; raw materials and finished goods ¨Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing products; count accuracy ¨Report to management and advise on process improvements ¨Implement loss mitigation, processes and protocols ¨Compiling inventory reports ¨Troubleshoot and addressing problems, obstacles and challenges ¨Ensure stock organization and storage ¨Perform other duties as assignedPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
¨High school diploma or GED required ¨2-5+ years' related experience in the manufacturing industry ¨Exceptional math and observation skills ¨Firm grasp of computer programs, including skills in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel ¨Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ¨Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create strong working relationships ¨Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy; able to prioritize ¨Highly organized and flexible ¨Motivated individual; able to work without constant guidance ¨Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly ¨Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and may require medium to heavy strength lifting, pushing, and pulling weight requirements, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, etc. Other Duties as Assigned Copperweld is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
