XPS Job Category Warehouse/Distribution Overview Description Cycle Counter Duties:

• Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Utilize data collection tools and software to record inventory counts and update stock levels
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to perform physical inventory audits
• Assist in order fulfillment by locating and retrieving items from the warehouse
• Work closely with 3PL partners to coordinate stock transfers and resolve any inventory issues
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, adjustments, and variances
• Generate reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies for management review
• Support production planning by providing accurate inventory data for forecasting purposes
• Assist in materials handling activities, including receiving, storing, and organizing stock
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency
• Participate in supplier management activities, such as monitoring stock quality and resolving delivery issues

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills
• Proficient in using data collection tools and software for inventory management (e.g., Nielsen)
• Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and warehouse operations
• Familiarity with financial modeling concepts related to inventory management
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address inventory-related challenges
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Note:

This is a contract position. We are seeking a dedicated Cycle Counter to join our team. As a Cycle Counter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory records through regular cycle counts. You will work closely with the warehouse team, 3PL partners, and cross-functional teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support order fulfillment. If you have strong attention to detail, excellent mathematical skills, and experience in data collection for inventory management, we would love to hear from you.
