Temp RPM Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory/Cycle Counter to join a warehouse team in Allen, Texas. In this critical role, you will ensure that the EVO system inventory accurately reflects physical stock, quickly identify and resolve discrepancies, and directly support accurate material planning that drives our monthly revenue goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform daily and weekly cycle counts according to ABC classification and established count plans Physically count inventory in bins, racks, cages, and other designated locations Compare physical counts against system records and investigate root causes of variances (mis picks, receiving errors, misplaced items, data entry issues, etc.) Execute inventory adjustments following company procedures and required approvals Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails for all adjustments Identify recurring issues, report findings, and recommend process improvements Support internal audits and full physical inventories as needed Key Performance Focus Areas Achieve high count accuracy rates Complete targeted number of counts per month Reduce overall inventory variances Resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
What You Bring Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Solid basic math and data entry skills Ability to work independently while following established procedures Excellent communication and collaboration skills with warehouse, receiving, and shipping teams Physical capability to walk, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift materials
Required:
Familiarity with ERP systems (EVO experience is a strong plus) Previous warehouse or inventory control experience Work Environment This is a hands-on warehouse/stockroom position. You will regularly use inventory scanners, computers, and our inventory management system. Expect a dynamic environment that requires mobility and attention to safety protocols. Why Join Us?
