JOB SUMMARY
Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Primary duty of this position is to fulfill orders by picking and processing inventory out of the AutoStore system. Other duties include inventory replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory control tasks. This role involves working with an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS), conveyor system, and corresponding software. The position processes all inventory through QA order closing and prepares for immediate shipment, consolidation, or to be sent to a technician on the floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely and accurate inventory pick and fulfillment transactions Pick sales orders, requisitions, and transfers through WM6 software Assure order is consistent across system platforms Invoice orders in P21 Route picked inventory to appropriate area Induct incoming inventory into AutoStore Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy Identify inventory discrepancies May be modified from time to time. Other duties, tasks and work may be assigned Must be willing to cross train in other areas throughout the warehouse to maintain company goals and expectations METRICS AutoStore Operators will be expected to maintain a goal attainment level of 100% of their goals based on the established performance metrics.
  • 1-5 errors made will retain 100% of metrics(monthly)
  • 6-10 errors made will result in 50% metrics penalty, which will result in a failure to meet 100% metric consistency.
  • over 10 Errors made will result in 100% penalty and no commission will be paid.
If over 10 errors in 2 consecutive months are made, this will result in MRS action.
QUALIFICATIONS
Inventory management or warehouse experience preferred Dependable Organized Ability to work independently Ability to follow written instructions
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong Computer proficiency Ability to multi-task Ability to work at fast pace Attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot Problem solving abilities Strong communication skills with management and team members throughout the department
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Long periods of continuous standing, turning and repetitive hand motion Limited sitting, reaching/working overhead, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling Frequent walking Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 25 pounds
BONUS/COMMISSION PLAN
Eligible for commission after successful completion of introductory 90 days.
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY
Introductory Review
  • Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue Quarterly Reviews
  • Employee will be given a brief written quarterly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity. Annual Reviews
  • Review same as monthly reviews for year along with Strengths, areas for improvement, and Plans/Goals for upcoming year.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is an hourly position. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday 8am
  • 5pm.
Employee's schedule may change due to business needs. Employee is expected to report to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. Employee is required to be available for additional/overtime as needed. Required Skills Required Experience
