303 University Drive East, College Station, TX 77840 JOB SUMMARY Add value to the company by facilitating the flow of product among all locations to ensure that merchandise is where it can be most utilized. This position will monitor and police all inventory movement with the goal of continually enhancing merchandise productivity, efficiencies, and profitability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Create and maintain a template of split allocations for each location based on product type and brand for new receipts Monitor and adjust location allocation by reviewing sales on a regular basis, as needed Work with the Buying Team to set and maintain replenishment values by style Utilize the coupling of transfer orders and replenishment values to facilitate the entire store replenishment process, for all locations Review all sales and on hand values when approving transfer orders, regarding items holistically, rather than just by single location Communicate will Inventory Control team on a constant basis regarding the movement of inventory and the accuracy of all movement Serve as a member of the Buying Team in accordance with our core values Perform all regular duties associated with Allocation Assistant in a professional mannerKEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Demonstrate attention to detail, with a desire to find the root cause of any issues Demonstrate a full understanding of how all transactions affect inventory levels Able to analyze sales data to extrapolate where inventory should be allocated Able to learn new software and processes to facilitate inventory flow Maintain excellent communication skills across many departments regarding flow of information and inventory Able to multitask and prioritize Able to assess the needs of the company and evolve processes and roles as needed to continue to increase efficiencies Demonstrate winning Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends and holidays, game days, graduations, ring day, special eventsFORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
