Inventory Control Associate Ben E. Keith life insurance, long term disability, 401(k) United States, Texas, Fort Worth May 13, 2026 For more than a century, Ben E. Position Summary and Responsibilities:
The purpose of the Inventory Control Associate Backup position is to assist the Inventory Control department Reclamation and Cycle Counting, and other duties as assigned by management. Accurate Counts of Inventory Fix strays and damages in the warehouse aisles Highly proficient with Excel, Outlook Teams Must have computer knowledge, able to send email, reports, etc Able to read product lists and packages. Keeping Inventory in Correct Locations Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend. Operating Forklift, pallet jack Repetitive lifting Perform additional tasks as needed Must be able to work at a height distance while using a lift (cannot be scared of heights) Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Inventory experience preferred. Highly proficient with Excel, Outlook, Teams Must have computer knowledge, able to send emails, reports, etc. Forklift, pallet jack experience preferred Must be at least 18 years old Must pass drug screen and physical exam High School Diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work at a height distance while using a lift (cannot be scared of heights) Able to read product lists and packages Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to handle product weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to repetitively lift. Ability to learn to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts. Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs. Must be able to work in different warehouse temperature zones The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery horns)
Work Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday 7am-4pm Saturday - 7am-3:30pm Ben E. Keith (BEK) Company is one of the largest food and beverage distributors in the United States.
