Job Description

Job Summary Rock'em is looking for a Production Specialist! Become a key contributor to the accuracy and efficiency of our production and inventory operations. Based at our distribution center in southwest Houston, in this role you will manage par levels, communicate directly with suppliers/vendors, create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), and coordinate inventory across our 4 retail stores and e-commerce site. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly accountable, comfortable communicating at an executive level, and confident coordinating inventory decisions across multiple stores and a distribution center. Your bilingual communication skills, technical proficiency, and ability to perform under pressure will help support our growing, multi-channel operation.
Schedule:
This is a full-time, in-person position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed based on business needs. What You Will Be Doing Determine and maintain optimal par levels for inventory across the distribution center and all retail locations. Communicate directly with suppliers/providers in Mexico regarding orders, production status, and delivery timelines. Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory processes. Coordinate inventory levels and stock transfers across all 4 retail stores and the e-commerce site. Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies between systems and physical counts. Communicate inventory status, risks, and recommendations clearly to executive leadership. Partner with purchasing, warehouse, and store teams to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time. Use inventory management systems and technology tools to track stock, generate reports, and flag issues proactively. Support forecasting and replenishment planning based on sales trends across all channels. Respond quickly and effectively to urgent inventory issues, stockouts, or supply delays. Maintain accountability for inventory data accuracy and process compliance. Prefered Skills Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally with suppliers in Mexico. Tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in inventory management systems, Excel, and general business software. Strong ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience communicating at an executive level, with the ability to present clear, concise updates and recommendations. Highly accountable, with strong ownership over inventory accuracy and outcomes. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to determine par levels based on sales velocity and demand. Experience writing and implementing SOPs. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple retail locations and an e-commerce platform. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination. Familiarity with Square POS. Requirements Must be willing and able to travel as needed, including occasional travel to retail store locations, events and, potentially, to supplier sites based on business needs. 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or distribution. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Experience communicating with international suppliers Experience with multi-location or multi-channel inventory management (retail and e-commerce) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/warehouse management systems. Experience creating SOPs or process documentation is a plus. Must be comfortable working an in-person, on-site position, this role is not remote or hybrid. Schedule flexibility may be offered, but availability to work weekends and certain holidays may be necessary based on business needs. Experience preparing inventory or operational reports for management Qualifications 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or distribution. Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Experience communicating with international suppliers, particularly in Mexico, preferred. Experience with multi-location or multi-channel inventory management (retail and e-commerce) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory/warehouse management systems. Experience creating SOPs or process documentation is a plus. Must be comfortable working an in-person, on-site position , this role is not remote or hybrid. Pay:
From $21.50 per hour
