Inventory Associate
II - A A
shift: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5
PM PST Location:
Hutto, TX Pay rate: $32 per hour
Assignment Duration:
6-Month Contract Responsibilities Support fulfillment and inventory operations through receiving, inspection, inventory control, packaging, storage, shipping, and material movement activities. Evaluate, monitor, and escalate roadblocks to prevent downstream defects, supporting continuous improvement. Operate a non-CDL company vehicle to safely transport materials, equipment, and other items between designated locations. Properly use equipment such as electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, understanding operational mechanics, safety procedures, and maintenance practices. Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and visually inspect packages for compliance with standard operating procedures. Conduct quality control checks, review requirements for each part number, and process accordingly. Document receipts using tools and equipment to upload, store, and close out work orders following standard procedures. Input data into inventory management systems, navigating modules and reading information as needed for fulfillment tasks. Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout the workflow. Move, sort, and stage packages, crates, and storage containers, securing items to prevent loss. Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in standard operating procedures for workflow analysis. Properly store and audit parts, whether individual or in bulk, following established procedures.
Requirements Desired:
Warehouse/Receiving/Inventory experience in the aerospace or automotive industry. Electronic pallet jack experience Minimum of 3 years of warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience, preferably in aerospace or automotive industries. Electronic pallet jack experience. At least 2+ years of fulfillment center operations experience, including receiving and inventory functions. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Strong adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE and participating in safety training. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a quality-focused attitude. Strong mathematical and analytical skills, capable of deriving inventory requirements from Bills of Material. Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships in a diverse, inclusive environment.
