We're looking for a warehouse associate with experience maintaining and processing warehouse inventory experience to join our dynamic team and help us continue producing world-class boats.
JOB SUMMARY
The expectation of this role is to gain foundational warehouse knowledge, learn the basic principles of inventory control, and establish communication dexterity, with the potential for advancement into the Materials "B" category when these transferrable skills have been firmly established. While learning and performing tasks that include material handling, warehouse equipment operation, work order processing and cycle counting, this position will incorporate a focus towards demonstrating a strong work ethic, reliability, and developing the proficiency necessary to ensure production departments have and receive the parts needed for building boats.
JOB DUTIES
. Provides and delivers materials throughout the plant for production and aiding production in keeping their materials ready for immediate use. . Organizes, cleans, and stocks warehouse shelves, bins, and storage area. . Retrieves and delivers off-line stock as needed. . Maintains proper paperwork necessary for inventory control purposes. . Aids in periodic and special inventories and help reconcile material warehouse for these inventories. . Aids in receiving and unloading trucks with deliveries of raw and bulk materials. . May include the use of forklifts, cranes, hoist, dollies, and all other warehouse equipment as required. . May involve material cutting such as carpet and woven fiberglass. . Keeps work area and equipment clean and reporting any that is not in proper operating condition. . Various other duties that are assigned to promote the efficiency or effectiveness of the warehouse operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
. Ability to perform walking, standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling. . Ability to lift 50 lbs. . Ability to work in either heat or cold. . Ability to work around dust, fumes, chemicals, dirt, and fibers. . Ability to read and write. . Manual dexterity . Have good attendance habits. . Basic knowledge of computer or scanner
