Job Description:
Inventory Control Summary Transferring, stocking, and verifying product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures safety within the department is maintained at all times.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports, analysis, records, and databases for assigned area.
  • Ensures that department obtains, maintains, and/or exceeds company productivity and quality policy.
  • Interacts with other employees in a polite, courteous, and productive manner.
  • Responsible for adhering to and enforcing established "Work Rules."
  • Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Transferring product to and from bin locations.
  • Verify count and correctness of items and lots
  • Stocking product
  • Assist Logistics with palletizing orders, labeling products, and pulling products.
  • Any other duties of a similar or lesser nature as required.
  • Computer experience
  • Will drive forklift/scissor lift (in-house training available)
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks loads
  • Assist on projects and work with other departments: EDI, Production, Logistics and etc. Competencies Attendance and punctuality
  • Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.

Requirements and Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Box Truck Driver requirement and qualifications are valid driver's license and clean driving record. At least 25 years old. Able to work independently and lift 75 lbs. Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with hand and power pallet jack. Forklift training will be done in house if not experienced. Language Ability Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, associate personnel, and other employees of the organization. Math Ability Basic math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to properly transfer product, stock product and cycle count product. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to find and understand inventory documents.
