Accurately count all full goods, raw materials, and supplies throughout the store and yard on a daily basis, either manually or using a handheld scanner Research and reconcile daily inventory variances, ensuring records match physical stock Maintain accurate inventory records by reconciling daily, monthly, and annual inventory counts in the system Identify and report close-dated, damaged, or obsolete products to help maintain a high-quality inventory Assist with receiving shipments and organizing stock to ensure items are properly stored and easy to locate Be flexible and open to cross-training in different areas and positions on the sales floor and cashiering as needed provide a great customer service experience Willingly help out in other departments and positions — whether it's assisting a customer with loading materials, jumping in at the register during busy times, or helping stock shelves — to provide exceptional customer service Collaborate closely with team members across various departments and locations, fostering a supportive and teamwork-oriented environment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all company safety procedures What does it take to be an Inventory Team Member? High school diploma or equivalent Strong computer and database skills 1+ years of inventory experience preferred but not required Ability to read and follow directions Must be able to walk throughout yards, and offices Results-oriented with ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible Strong interpersonal skills with willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills Ability to lift up to 25-50lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift What's It Like To Work for Nation's Best?
