Description We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support daily warehouse operations in Richmond, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and timely order handling. The role involves managing inventory movement, preparing outgoing shipments, and helping maintain orderly stock levels throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Pick products accurately from warehouse inventory based on order details and shipping needs.
• Pack materials securely to help ensure items arrive safely and meet shipment requirements.
• Prepare orders for dispatch by labeling, staging, and organizing packages for carrier pickup.
• Move inventory and supplies throughout the warehouse while safely handling items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Track stock activity and update inventory records to support accurate asset control.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle count activities to verify on-hand quantities.
• Support assembly line or order-processing workflows as needed to meet daily production and shipping goals. Requirements
• Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or shipping support work.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Familiarity with inventory tracking and asset inventory practices.
• Experience participating in physical inventory counts, including annual inventory activities.
• Comfort working in a warehouse setting with standing, walking, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling orders and stock.
• Ability to follow instructions, stay organized, and work effectively as part of a team.
