None Summary:
This position supports the Inventory Control Department by executing scheduled cycle counts, assisting with physical inventories, and ensuring accurate, timely inventory data at the store level. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for performing counts, identifying discrepancies, and documenting findings in accordance with established inventory procedures. Success in this role requires attention to detail, consistency, comfort working with structured processes, and the ability to follow defined inventory schedules and escalation protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the
Inventory Specialist:
Perform scheduled cycle counts and assigned physical inventory counts. Many on overnight Conduct recounts when variances are identified or as directed Accurately record count results and discrepancies using approved tools and forms Identify and document inventory variances, damages, or other issues observed during counts Submit variance documentation to Inventory Control leadership for review and approval Follow established inventory schedules, SOPs, and escalation thresholds Support audit, compliance, and regulatory inventory requirements as assigned Maintain organized inventory areas to support accurate counting Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the
Inventory Specialist:
Enhance relationship with store and accounting staff to ensure correct information is flowing to all parties Other duties, as assigned.
Other duties:

Requirements:
Minimum two years experience in an Inventory role strongly preferred Experience using Excel, Office Suite preferred Data entry experience desired Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs, including nights, overnights, weekends, and holiday Must be able to pass criminal background check and oral drug screening.
