•4:30 PM About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Inventory Associate / Forklift Operator to support warehouse, fulfillment, and inventory operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for the safe movement, storage, tracking, and processing of materials while ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has experience in fulfillment center operations, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse logistics. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges in a fast-paced environment. ResponsibilitiesInventory Management & Fulfillment Operations Support receiving, inventory control, storage, picking, kitting, packing, and shipping activities. Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management and inventory tracking systems. Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy. Follow established procedures to ensure material traceability throughout the fulfillment process. Material Handling & Equipment Operation Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including: Forklifts Reach trucks Turret trucks Electric pallet jacks (EPJs) Transport inventory, components, and materials throughout the facility. Ensure materials are handled, stored, and staged in accordance with operational requirements and safety guidelines. Receiving & Quality Assurance Receive and unload inbound shipments from carriers and suppliers. Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, damage, and compliance with established quality standards. Verify shipment documentation and inventory records. Execute quality control checks and process materials according to standard operating procedures. Packaging, Labeling & Storage Package materials appropriately for storage, transport, and shipment. Label and identify inventory to ensure proper tracking and traceability. Sort, stage, and organize materials to support production and fulfillment activities. Assign and audit storage locations while maintaining warehouse organization standards. Documentation & System Transactions Accurately document receiving and inventory transactions. Perform data entry and inventory updates within inventory management systems. Complete work orders and receipt processing in accordance with operational procedures. Navigate inventory and warehouse management tools to support day-to-day operations. Continuous Improvement Identify process inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, and quality concerns. Escalate issues that could impact downstream operations or customer deliveries. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Safety & Compliance Adhere to all workplace safety standards, policies, and procedures. Properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in safety training and maintain a strong safety-first mindset. Operate equipment responsibly and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or material handling operations. Experience with receiving, inventory management, shipping, picking, packing, or warehousing processes. Ability to safely operate, or successfully complete training to operate, powered industrial equipment. Experience working with inventory management systems and performing data entry. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a team environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and inventory planning processes. Prior experience conducting inventory audits and cycle counts. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, distribution, or high-volume fulfillment environments. Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience.
