Warehouse Receiving/Production Stager
Job Description
Marshfield Furniture is looking for a full-time employee to come join our team with up to a $1000 Sign-on Bonus. We offer the opportunity to become part of a team that is dedicated to providing high quality furniture for over 75 years! 1st shift position: Monday thru Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. 32-40 hours depending on production needs.
Position Summary:
Responsible for accurate and efficient organization, inventory, and distribution of warehouse production materials along with running various reports.Duties and responsibilities:
Staging material for use and production on hand carts. Distribute materials in production departments via hand carts. Receiving, stocking and maintaining material inventory. Inspect incoming inventory for damage or defect. Ability to read work orders and specification tickets. Loading and unloading trucks with use of pallet jack or hand-truck. Use computer to receive or order product in ERP system. Use machinery to cut material for production.Preferred background:
2 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting Proficiency in picking & packing, order picking, and packaging Ability to operate forklifts, and pallet jacks Strong background in materials handling and warehouse inventory Knowledge of stocking, quality control, and mechanical processesRequirements:
Must have valid drivers license Work effectively with co-workers. Ability to lift or move 40/50 lbs. Ability to be on your feet throughout the shift. Good verbal and written communication skills. 40 hours of Vacation time after 90 days of continuous employmentJob Type:
