How will you power what's possible? Job Description The inventory clerk monitors and insures accuracy of inventories. This will include supplies, copper, scrap, raw materials, work in process and finished goods. Additionally, the inventory clerk supports production through printing of product labels and assisting with system transactions. Responsibilities Ensure adherence to the Southwire inventory policy by performing inventory counts and monitoring transactions as required by the policy. Print finished good product labels. Support production and planning with system transactions and data processing. Transfer scrap from inventory into work in process as material is moved. Correct any data on packages that is not accurate as printed, and update files accordingly. Document all receipts on appropriate spreadsheets as necessary, including insulated cables sent to rod mill for stripping. Make necessary adjustments to inventories at month end. Other duties as assigned by manager.
