An Inventory Counter is responsible for accurately counting, recording, and verifying inventory levels within a warehouse, retail, or distribution environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct physical inventory counts of products and materials. Verify quantities and report discrepancies. Use scanners, tablets, and computer systems to input and track inventory data. Follow time-sensitive deadlines to complete assigned counting tasks. Assist in identifying and resolving inventory issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and accurate reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day and remain on feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective time management skills, especially for deadline-driven tasks. Basic knowledge of handheld scanners, tablets, and computers. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills. Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
