Job Description

Role Impact As part of an aseptic beverage manufacturing company the Maintenance Clerk is responsible for assisting the Maintenance department by processing CMMS requests and associated paperwork, along with inventory control and recordkeeping. Responsibilities Works with maintenance team to identify parts, material and any equipment needed. Compile data from vendor invoices and supporting documents to verify accuracy of billing data and to ensure receipt of items ordered. Compare invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Sets up proper inventory levels based on management and vendor recommendations and usage history. Orders, organizes, and maintains the parts inventory for the facility and plant equipment. Performs cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy. Checks out and returns inventory. Perform clerical and bookkeeping duties for the Maintenance Department. Dispatch time sensitive emergency work in the maintenance department. Works with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production to set up PM and calibration programs within the CMMS system. Maintain, enter, update, and complete work orders in CMMS. Maintains vendor relations. Coordinates the repair of repairable inventory. Ensures availability and stages parts for preventative maintenance work. Observe and follow GMP guidelines ensuring product quality. Participate in planning for long term changes and cost-effective logistics. Perform all other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma. Experience & Skills 3+ years of progressively increasing experience in maintenance and facilities services. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems knowledge required; working knowledge of INFOR M# strongly preferred. Excellent communication, problem solving and negotiating skills. Strong computer and analytical skills combined with the ability to manage large amounts of quantitative data. Ability to keep detailed accountability records, including budgets, contracts, and inventory. Ability to complete tasks independently, as well as in a team environment. Technical knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, materials, inventory management, manufacturing and/or related functions. Food manufacturing experience a plus Demonstrated process improvement and change management skills desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb up and down ladders and work in tight spaces Ability to use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry and manipulate materials and tools Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb constantly throughout the shift Ability to reach, bend, twist, rotate, push and pull frequently.
