Office & Inventory Assistant Inventory & Supply Management Receive and verify incoming deliveries of janitorial supplies, chemicals, and equipment Organize and maintain the warehouse — everything has a place and everything is in its place Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile against expected stock levels Track supply usage and flag low stock before shortages affect field operations Maintain organized chemical storage in compliance with safety and labeling standards (SDS sheets, proper segregation) Prepare and stage supply orders for field supervisors and building assignments Coordinate with supervisors on supply requests and ensure timely fulfillment Office & Administrative Support Assist with day-to-day office administrative tasks as needed Help manage incoming calls, messages, and requests directed to the office Support document organization, filing, and record-keeping in both physical and digital formats Assist with employee communication tasks — distributing notices, printing materials, coordinating handoffs Help prepare onboarding materials, packets, or supplies for new hires Cross-Training / Backup for People Ops Shadow day-to-day responsibilities to develop a thorough understanding of the People Ops function Learn scheduling support workflows, employee records management, and day office coordination Be prepared to step in and cover key responsibilities when Juan is out Build relationships with field supervisors and employees to support the People Ops pipeline General Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office and warehouse environment Follow all safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating warehouse equipment Communicate proactively — flag issues, shortages, delays, or anything out of the ordinary Represent Janco professionally in all internal and external interactions
