The Assistant Host supports the Front Desk team by welcoming Guests, helping manage dining-room flow, maintaining a polished entry experience, and sending every Guest off with a sincere goodbye. Our goal is to create the feeling of unexpected Hospitality so our Guests want to return. What You Will Do
  • Sincerely greet Guests, escort them to tables, provide menus, and assist with coats or belongings when appropriate.
  • Record reservations accurately and answer the telephone politely, confidently, and knowledgeably.
  • Answer the phone with warmth and sincerity by the fourth ring.
  • Maintain the front desk, entryway, and surrounding Guest areas throughout the shift.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and checklist assignments.
  • Perform regular restroom cleanliness and stocking checks.
  • Sincerely thank departing Guests, work safely, and support fellow crewmembers with a Can Do, Guest Driven attitude. What We Are Looking For
  • A genuine desire to provide warm, personalized hospitality.
  • Clear and effective communication with Guests and coworkers in English.
  • Basic math skills, attention to accuracy, and the ability to stay organized.
  • Professional appearance and a clean, pressed, properly fitting uniform.
  • Calm, positive teamwork in stressful or fast-paced situations.
Physical & Work Requirements Ability to move safely through crowded or restricted areas, use stairs and ramps, work in close quarters, carry up to 35 pounds, and work shifts of up to nine hours. The environment includes food, spices, alcoholic beverages, cleaning chemicals, and proximity to hot cooking equipment.
