Discover a more connected career At Star Construction, as a Sr. Specialist Inventory Management will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory on materials necessary to complete jobs. What you'll do Assists in maintaining proper inventory on materials necessary to complete jobs. Responsible to fill out daily production reports Responsible for picking up materials as needed from supplier(s) and/or customer Responsible for assisting crews and subcontractors with getting materials needed to complete jobs Assists in keeping Star yard clean and organized Assists in receiving material(s) from supplier(s) into warehouse to include operation of forklifts and other powered equipment. Responsible to maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels to ensure ability to keep crews working while maintaining budgetary constraints. Ensures paper and electronic reporting to the corporate office is completed completely and timely to ensure proper billing. Ensures paper and electronic reporting and ordering to the customer to ensure accounts payable guidelines are met as well as customer requirements. IND1 What you'll need Valid Driver's License is required Class A CDL is preferred Ability to work both individually and in a team environment Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers, homeowners, and customers Ability to lift and/or pull 100 pounds several times each day Ability to endure long periods of standing, sitting, or walking Ability to work in an outdoor environment during all times of the year Why grow your career with us Your career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
