About the Role As a Materials Inventory Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring the seamless flow of components to production and engineering teams. By leveraging your expertise in ERP systems and inventory management, you will directly impact our ability to meet critical delivery schedules and maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end movement of materials, including receiving, kitting, and strategic stocking to support production workflows. Analyze ERP dashboards to proactively resolve discrepancies and ensure transaction accuracy before processing. Coordinate the assembly of complex job kits, ensuring all mechanical and electronic components are staged for timely project completion. Maintain rigorous inventory integrity through regular audits and secure storage practices to prevent material loss. Provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on process improvement. Manage documentation and digital records for all inventory transactions, ensuring full traceability of parts. Prioritize material distribution to align with shifting production demands and departmental goals. Serve as a cross-functional resource, assisting engineering and production teams with real-time part availability data. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in material handling or inventory control. Deep understanding of multi-level BOMs, parent-child assembly structures, and hierarchical inventory logic. Proven expertise in handling sensitive components, including ESD-safe practices and shelf-life management. Proficiency in utilizing reel counters and managing electronic/mechanical components. Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Preferred Skills Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP software suites. Strong technical aptitude for managing printed circuit board (PCB) kitting processes. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office for reporting and data analysis.
