Lead Inventory Control Coordinator Lead Inventory Control Associate performs manual and clerical duties related to inventory, shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies within the warehouse. . A Inventory Associate must always ensure they are maintaining inventory control and records during all product move processes. What you'll do: Picking orders from warehouse inventory using item location identifiers Unloading, moving and storing materials. Loading trucks for delivery. Utilizing manual lifts, reach trucks and transfer equipment (requires applicable safety and operational training) Storing and stacking materials according to company standards Identifying and verifying parts Reporting inventory shortages and recommending new orders Removing damaged materials from stock and document inventory adjustment accordingly Operating RF scanners and other hand-held devices Inventory accoutability for the entire wire room Other responsibilities may be assigned. What you'll bring: 6 months of related experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution environment preferred Forklift experience preferred Knowledge of branch product lines. Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices. Knowledge of Company policies and procedures. Skill in organizing and prioritizing personnel and work activities. Knowledge of merchandise handling and production methods. Some knowledge of basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. Ability to effectively communicate. Must be a team player and abide by QED's strong core values and beliefs
