Full-Time About Us At The Wood Veneer Hub (WVH) , we're experiencing rapid growth and increasing demand across the North American market. Known for our high-quality materials and exceptional service, we are passionate about transforming spaces with innovative solutions. Our team is collaborative, detail-oriented, and driven—and we're looking for a motivated Inventory Specialist to join our Tolleson site. About the Role As an Inventory Specialist, you'll be a key part of our operations team, ensuring accurate inventory counts, optimizing warehouse processes, and supporting our production and product teams. You'll collaborate closely with the Warehouse Manager, purchasing team, and other departments to maintain efficient inventory management and data accuracy. Key Responsibilities- Track inbound containers and purchase orders; receive inbound shipments.
- Monitor inventory operations, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
- Issue weekly and monthly reports on stock levels, inbound containers, new products, out of stock items, discontinued items and inventory issues.
- Lead quarterly and yearly inventory counts.
- Create and manage a cycle count schedule for regular inventory audits.
- Audit inbound products for manufacturing or packaging quality and address discrepancies.
- Review purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Assist with product ordering for the US when needed.
- Manage warehouse capacity and implement stock storage optimization plans.
- Oversee returns processes and border/customs responsibilities for US, CAN, and MX shipments.
- Ensure Material Bank and 3PL partners are consistently well-stocked.
- Occasionally cover for the Warehouse Manager as required.
- Maintain collaboration with the purchasing team to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems and WMS.
- Familiarity with Shopify, ShipHero, Amazon Seller Central, Inventory Planner, Material Bank.
- Proficiency in supply chain management, production planning, and analytics.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- 3-5+ years of inventory management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of border and customs processes between the US, CAN, and MX. Preferred Traits
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
