Job Description

We are looking for an Operations & Inventory Specialist to support inventory control, warehouse coordination, and operational reporting for a Long-term Contract position based in Tucson, Arizona. This role focuses on maintaining accurate stock visibility, helping balance product flow across warehouse locations, and working closely with internal teams and third-party warehouse partners to keep daily operations on track. The ideal candidate will bring strong data entry accuracy, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory updates, reconciliations, and service-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee weekly inventory activities to help position finished goods appropriately across warehouse locations in support of service goals and stock targets.
  • Coordinate product transfers between facilities and confirm transactions are completed accurately so inventory records remain current and reliable.
  • Manage home delivery inventory throughout the warehouse network by monitoring replenishment needs, stock availability, and system visibility.
  • Lead routine reviews with warehouse partners to discuss recent execution results, immediate priorities, operational concerns, and upcoming inventory needs.
  • Monitor warehouse and 3PL performance, address service or fulfillment issues, and communicate daily priorities to support efficient inbound and outbound operations.
  • Complete monthly reconciliations between internal records and third-party warehouse systems, researching discrepancies and ensuring corrections are properly recorded.
  • Support cycle counts, physical inventory validations, hold inventory tracking, and disposition coordination to improve overall inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with warehouse-related cost tracking, documentation, accrual support, and month-end administrative activities tied to inventory operations.
  • Partner with planning, logistics, customer service, suppliers, and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules, communicate inventory risks, and resolve operational system issues affecting receiving, shipping, or transaction accuracy.
