Compensation:

$19.30/hr. Exact Staff is hiring for a growing fresh produce and food processing organization known for its focus on quality, innovation, and efficient distribution. As an Inventory Specialist Level 1 , you will help maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are properly counted, rotated, and managed within the warehouse. This position works closely with the Shipping and Warehouse teams to perform inventory counts, research inventory discrepancies, operate warehouse equipment, and maintain accurate information in the company's Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management Complete daily inventory cycle counts and rotate older inventory. Research and correct inventory discrepancies. Use WMS and GIS systems to manage and track inventory. Meet inventory count and accuracy goals established by management. Maintain accurate pallet and product information. Stack and restack products as needed. Repack damaged products when necessary. Perform other warehouse and inventory duties as assigned. Warehouse & Equipment Safely operate a stand-up forklift and pallet jack. Read and understand pallet IDs, reports, and WMS tablet information. Inspect products and equipment as needed. Follow all company safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Work safely in warehouse and food processing areas.

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certification required. Previous shipping or warehouse experience required. Experience with inventory, WMS, or warehouse systems preferred. Ability to safely operate a stand-up forklift and pallet jack. Ability to read pallet IDs, reports, and WMS information. Basic computer and tablet skills. Ability to read and understand written information in English. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow company policies, safety procedures, and GMPs. Ability to work overtime and/or weekends based on business needs. Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, consistent with applicable state and federal law.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a food processing and warehouse environment. Ability to safely operate a forklift and pallet jack. Ability to work in areas with narrow passages, wet floors, elevated platforms, and high noise levels. Ability to work in varying temperatures, in cold and hot areas. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work with products and equipment at ground level for extended periods. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate a computer, tablet, and other standard equipment. Ability to inspect products and equipment as required.
