This role is ideal for a detail-oriented operations professional with experience supporting inventory control, purchasing, vendor coordination, and production planning activities in a manufacturing or production environment. The Inventory & Purchasing Specialist will play an important role in keeping materials available, purchasing activity organized, and inventory records accurate. This opportunity offers a collaborative, team-focused work environment where communication, accountability, and proactive problem solving are valued. Must be OK with making occasional deliveries to local vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Order fulfillment (Using Sage System and through vendor portals) Electrical Construction Industry background preferred Customer Submittals Maintaining Inventory (entering requisitions in Sage System, doing Physical Counts) Pulling Permits/Scheduling Finals with Cities/Counties Vehicle Maintenance (follow up on truck maintenance, recalls, inventory, repairs etc) Warehouse safety inspections and maintaining small tool inventory Printing Production (Using printing machine for construction signs) Maintaining Certifications (Review and maintain roster of certification for electricians, assisting with renewals) Create, track, and follow up on purchase orders while maintaining accurate purchasing and inventory records. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, order status, and delivery schedules. Coordinate with production, operations, warehouse, and accounting teams to support material flow and resolve discrepancies. Review inventory data, usage trends, and stock levels to help prevent shortages, overstock, and production delays. Assist with cycle counts, inventory adjustments, documentation, and process improvements related to purchasing and inventory control.

Compensation and Benefits Pay range:

$28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
