We are looking for a dependable individual who takes pride in accuracy and understands that even the smallest details matter when managing valuable merchandise and inventory.
Responsibilities Receiving & Verification:
Receive merchandise and carefully verify physical items against purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, and other documentation before entering information into the system.
Data Entry & Inventory Accuracy:
Accurately enter and update inventory information while maintaining complete and organized records.
Inventory & Order Tracking:
Process and track new merchandise, stock, customer orders, repairs, samples, consignment items, and other inventory movements.
Sales Order Processing:
Print and prepare sales order (SO) bags and ensure merchandise is properly identified and allocated.
Order Fulfillment:
Allocate merchandise from purchase orders or available stock to customer orders to help ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
Vendor Job Management:
Track merchandise and jobs being handled by outside vendors and follow up as needed.
Invoice & Administrative Support:
Process invoice revisions, monitor shipping charges, and maintain supporting documentation.
Factory Communication:
Maintain clear and professional communication with factories regarding merchandise, orders, discrepancies, and job status.
Quality Control:
Identify discrepancies or missing information and resolve issues before inventory or order records are finalized. Maintain an organized work area and assist the team with additional receiving and inventory-related responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Excellent data entry, organizational, and record-keeping skills Ability to review and verify information thoroughly before processing Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow established procedures while identifying and resolving discrepancies Dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong sense of accountability and commitment to accuracy Collaborative team player with a professional and positive attitude Proficiency with basic computer applications; experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plus Experience with jewelry, inventory management, receiving, order processing, or ERP systems is a plus.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
