Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records within our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring inventory accuracy across all warehouse transactions. This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency and supporting customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages. Reconcile inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system. Process inventory adjustments and maintain supporting documentation. Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy. Monitor product movement and identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes. Assist with physical inventory counts and audits. Generate inventory reports and provide analysis to management. Maintain organized inventory storage locations and accurate labeling. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years of inventory control, warehouse, or logistics experience Required. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, or inventory software. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Forklift experience is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
