Job Description
Lighting distributor in the Coachella Valley is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist/Inventory Management to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our team. If you have an Accounting degree or experience in Accounting and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions. Responsibilities Process vendor payments in a timely manner with check, ACH, wire, and credit card Maintain lien program with new and updated projects ensuring lien dates are accurate, preliminary notices have been sent, etc. Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards each month Assist with monthly closing procedures related to accounts payable Maintain accurate vendor files including W-9 forms and vendor documentation Monthly reconciliation of sales tax Keep inventory updated Other duties as assigned Skills Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures Familiarity with finance regulations Hands-on experience with MS Excel and NetSuite Organization skills Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information Strong communication skills Good judgement and prioritization •Waiting period for benefits applies•
