Gnostech is seeking a skilled Supply Support Technician to support the Navy and Marine Corps (NAVWAR/NIWC Pacific) Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) In-Service Engineering (ISEA) Program. This role supports Logistics Support (Supply Support) functions for fielded METOC systems, ensuring spares availability, proper material handling, and accurate inventory and configuration records across the system lifecycle. The Supply Technician works as part of a small team, coordinating closely with Configuration Management, Technical Data, and program staff to maintain readiness of fielded systems worldwide. Job Title Supply Support Technician Salary $39.00-$43.09 per hour Shift N/A Travel N/A Position Responsibilities Develop and maintain estimates of the initial quantity of spares sufficient to meet system availability requirements; support accurate unit consumption data for the Supply System. Perform Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) functions, including acquiring, cataloging, receiving, storing, transferring, issuing, and disposing of various end items necessary to support the life cycle of system support. Provide input for initial development and/or updates to existing system documentation, including Life Cycle Support Plans (LCSP) and User's Logistics Support Summaries (ULSS). Perform equipment inventory and keep a detailed record of all received and shipped equipment; provide activities related to the movement of materials, both classified and unclassified, in accordance with current regulations and directives. Prepare required shipping and receiving paperwork or documentation; institute and mark Item Unique Identification (IUID) as appropriate in accordance with current directives. Perform Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and provide technical recommendations for system material reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM), including Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FEMECA), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Planned Maintenance System (PMS), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RC). Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to programs with regard to logistics product development for drawings, supply support, technical manuals, maintenance planning, support and test equipment, and training. Minimum Security Clearance Current active Secret Clearance Required Qualifications and Skills Experience in supply chain, inventory management, warehousing, or logistics support, ideally in a DoD/Navy environment. Familiarity with material handling, shipping/receiving documentation, and inventory tracking systems. Ability to work on-site at NIWC Pacific, San Diego, CA. Must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire. Ability to accurately maintain inventory, shipping/receiving, and configuration records in compliance with Navy supply directives. Desired Skills Experience with CDMD-OA, COSAL, or Navy supply systems. Familiarity with IUID marking requirements and DoD supply regulations. Experience supporting Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) certifications or documentation. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills in a fast-paced logistics environment.
