Job Description
Johnson Service Group is seeking an Inventory Control Technician for one of our clients in San Jose. This position supports warehouse, inventory, and courier operations by delivering materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring supplies are safely received, organized, and distributed. Responsibilities Perform scheduled and on-demand deliveries of equipment, materials, supplies, and mail to various District facilities. Receive, sort, store, and issue inventory items, tools, and parts for field and office operations. Operate District vehicles and light material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts. Receive, count, track, and document tools, supplies, parts, and other materials. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and related documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Support internal mail and courier services by ensuring efficient routing and timely deliveries. Follow established safety practices and delivery protocols. Qualifications Knowledge of safe driving, delivery, inventory, and warehouse safety practices. Ability to operate vehicles and light material-handling equipment. Strong organization, communication, customer service, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and perform light to medium lifting. Basic computer skills. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. One year of storekeeping or inventory control experience. License & Certification Valid California Driver's License and satisfactory driving record may be required when driving is an essential function of the position. Must obtain District Forklift Certification within six months of appointment.
