Job Description The Central Supply Coordinator is responsible for accurately placing purchase orders with suppliers, maintaining accurate estimated time of arrival(ETA) dates, providing proof of deliveries, and ensuring appropriate levels of stock for the Sunnyside Nursing. The Central Supply Coordinator will support other team members in Skilled Nursing by processing Capital/Reserve requests. Requirements Key Responsibilities Supply Distribution & Restocking Deliver supplies to designated areas and ensure timely, accurate distribution. Stock resident rooms and nursing stations daily with briefs, gloves, underpads, and other required items. Maintain oxygen tank closets and other storage areas in an organized and compliant manner. Ensure all units maintain required par levels at all times. Order Management & Vendor Coordination Receive incoming supply deliveries, verify order accuracy, and report discrepancies promptly. Place weekly orders and coordinate with delivery drivers as needed. Track and log orders using Google Sheets, Excel, or other designated systems. Inventory Management Conduct regular inventory counts and adjust stock as needed to prevent shortages or overstocking. Keep all storage areas clearly labeled, clean, and compliant with safety standards. Prepare weekend supply allocations (2-3 days' worth, as needed). Communication & Collaboration Announce Central Supply openings daily and assist nursing staff courteously and efficiently. Communicate inventory needs or low-stock alerts to supervisors. Support new departmental projects or initiatives as assigned. Requirements Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and moving cases of supplies throughout the day (up to 50 lbs). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Basic computer skills required — familiarity with Google Docs/Sheets or Microsoft Word/Excel is a must. Ability to follow structured schedules while adapting to occasional urgent requests. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience in central supply at a skilled nursing facility or hospital setting
